You can also click the “Set For All Levels” button to control alignment and indents for your whole list.
Position: Use the controls in the “Position” section to change how the selected number level is aligned and indented. Restart list after: Have the list restart after it reaches a certain number or letter. Start at: Choose the number or letter where you want to start the numbering. This lets you create line numbers like 1.1 1.1.1 and so on. Include level number from: Use this dropdown to include the number from a previous level. You can even mix bullet points into a numbered list this way (or vice versa). You can change it to pretty much any number or bullet style you want. Number style for this level: Use this dropdown to change the style of the selected number level. Click the “Font” button to its right to change the font used for the level. Enter formatting for number: You can type the text for the line number as you want it to appear in this box. If you wish to create an indent affecting lines in a single paragraph, with an insertion point made in the text, from the Text menu, select Insert>Tabs and Spaces>Indent To Here to set an indent up to that point. The right indent tab will ignore formatting set by the Frame Text Ruler and will set an indent on the right-hand edge of the text frame. To add an individual or one-off right indent tab, with an insertion point made in the text, from the Text menu, select Insert>Tabs and Spaces>Right Indent Tab (or press the -tab keys). To precisely adjust indent settings using numerical values, open the Paragraph panel and adjust the indents from the Spacing section. The text ruler will appear when an insertion point is made in the text. From the View menu, ensure that Show Text Ruler is checked. From the context toolbar, ensure that Frame Text Ruler is switched on. The Right indent (C) is set in relation to the object's right margin (or text frame edge if the margin is not set). The Left indent (B) is set in relation to the object's left margin (or text frame edge if the margin is not set). 
The First line indent (A) is in relation to the left indent.
